Create Meaningful Gatherings!

We have a natural impulse to be social and the capacity to help one another. RoK’s workshops address the growing social discord by changing the mindset at the individual and group levels.

Our Mission:
Connect people and cultivate a meaningful sense of belonging in our families, neighborhoods, and workplace to reduce loneliness and social isolation – across all sections of society.

  • Create supportive social circles. Reduce loneliness and isolation by cultivating kindness and empathy in everyday situations
  • Establish meaningful relationships with your family, colleagues, and friends
  • Nurture a sense of wonder about Nature and our Planet to inspire us to feel more connected with ourselves and others.

Using personal narratives, films can make complex issues more accessible and emotionally engaging, sparking conversations and inspiring action.

Our workshops provide a welcoming space to connect with others in your community. We start with a screening of the short film, “Between the Silence,” which explores the power of connection. This film will spark a conversation about belonging, loneliness, and kindness.

Join a facilitated discussion and interactive exercises to build the skills you need to connect with others in local libraries, places of worship, civic organizations, and activity groups.

With each group, we use a specific series of interactive exercises designed to gain insight into individuals and their needs. Addressing feelings of social inadequacy, despair and alienation together can be a catalyst for systemic change.

We transform social alienation by cultivating curiosity, empathy, and trust. The more interactions we have, the greater the opportunities for belonging.

“Mina’s presentation and workshop on the importance of community last Sunday was really powerful! So nice to see the auditorium filled with people again!”
